Lake never stays the same for very long. Every few years they seem to get "reformatted"; keeping the same basic sense of self, but shifting appearance, name, and some degree of personality traits. Sometimes this is upsetting, the feeling of impermanence, but in the last few years they decided to embrace their identity as a shapeshifter and try to view it as a positive thing instead of only a loss.
They've been here in some form for most of our life. Nonbinary, maybe agender, maybe aroace, maybe something else. Questioning.
